This water-filled room leads left to Launch Area 1, while the tunnel across the room leads to Launch Areas 2 and 3. There is a round hatch in the ceiling, which was somehow opened by the locals and used as a garbage chute. We are about 60 feet underground here, so there must be a long shaft up above the hatch (you can see daylight coming down it when the flashlights are off).
